These Terms constitute the agreement between you and EV Heroes Ltd when you purchase a product, receive a quote from evheroes.co.uk, or engage with our customer services team. They do not override any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.

Your contract for purchases through evheroes.co.uk is exclusively with EV Heroes Ltd. By placing an order, you confirm that the goods you purchase are intended solely for personal use and not for resale.

Eligibility and Accuracy of Information

To use this website, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use this site with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not use this website.

You represent and warrant that:

2. The credit or debit card used for payment is your own and has sufficient funds to cover the transaction.

Responsibility for Breach of Terms

If you violate these Terms or cause any liabilities due to your use of this website, you agree to indemnify EV Heroes Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers for any resulting costs or expenses, including reasonable legal fees if applicable.

You will also remain responsible for any unauthorised use of your account unless you can demonstrate that such use was due to fraud beyond your control.

Ordering

When placing an order with EV Heroes Ltd, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

All orders are subject to acceptance by us and the availability of products.

Each item requested is treated as a separate order for business purposes. While we will make every effort to combine multiple orders into one delivery and invoice, orders may be delivered over several days and in multiple packages due to operational requirements.

Products and services offered by EV Heroes Ltd are subject to change without prior notice. As some products may be available in limited quantities, we cannot guarantee that an item displayed on a previous visit will still be available. Items that are discontinued or temporarily unavailable will be removed from the website as promptly as possible. For assistance with unavailable products, please contact our customer service team.

We strive to ensure all product information, including prices, on evheroes.co.uk is accurate and up to date. However, errors may occur, including typographical mistakes, inaccurate sizes, prices, colours, or stock availability. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the website content. We reserve the right to correct any errors and update product information at any time, including after an order has been placed. Prices for products are subject to change without notice.

All prices on the website are in British Pounds and are valid only in the United Kingdom. Applicable taxes will be added at checkout or when invoiced.

No contract for the sale of any product exists until we accept your order by delivering or installing the product. Product prices are only guaranteed upon delivery and/or installation.

A confirmation email detailing the ordered products, payment method, costs, and delivery/installation times will be sent to the email address provided during the order process. Please verify all details in the confirmation email and notify us promptly of any discrepancies. If your order is not accepted, you will receive an email explaining the reasons why.

After submitting your order, you will receive a follow-up electronic communication with instructions to provide additional information needed to process the order, including photos of the installation site and electrical supply. Customers must ensure that all submitted information and photographs are accurate, complete, and promptly provided. Installation cannot proceed until all requested information is received and verified.

EV Heroes Ltd will process the OZEV grant application on your behalf. If eligible, the grant amount will be deducted from your payment. Should the grant application be rejected due to inaccurate or misleading information provided by you, you agree to pay EV Heroes Ltd the grant amount and an additional £150 administration fee within seven (7) days of being notified. Failure to pay may result in legal action or recovery of goods. Please refer to the OZEV grant guidelines on the official government website for full eligibility criteria.

You are responsible for any costs incurred due to false, inaccurate, or incomplete information provided to EV Heroes Ltd regarding the OZEV grant or any other services.

Consumer Right of Return and Refund

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without providing a reason.

The cancellation period begins when you place your order and ends 14 days after you take possession of the product.

To meet the cancellation deadline, send your cancellation request before the 14-day period expires.

Cancellation Fee

If you cancel your order after we have started processing your OZEV grant application or DNO notification, we may charge an administration fee of £100.

We commit to providing our installation service with reasonable care and skill.

Customers must ensure safe and clear access to the worksite for our installers. If items must be moved, it is at your own risk, and EV Heroes Ltd will not be held liable for any resulting damage. If safety concerns arise, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the installation until the issue is resolved.

If the premises are deemed unsuitable upon inspection, we may cancel the installation and issue a refund unless the issue could have been identified through a properly completed online survey. In such cases, a reasonable fee will be deducted from the refund.

We are not responsible for delays or additional visits required to complete installations due to unforeseen circumstances.

An additional call-out fee of £150 may apply if:

– You cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled installation.

– Installation is postponed due to incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.

– No responsible adult is present during the installation.

– You change your mind on the day of installation regarding the product, scope of work, or decide not to proceed.

Payment

EV Heroes Ltd accepts major credit and debit cards, including VISA and Mastercard.

All card transactions are subject to validation and authorisation by the card issuer. If payment authorisation is declined, we are not liable for delays or non-delivery of products. Orders for out-of-stock items will be cancelled, and refunds will be processed immediately.

Retention of Title

Ownership of goods remains with EV Heroes Ltd until payment has been received in full and the goods have been installed.

Installation and Delivery

Delivery/installation dates are estimates. Goods will be delivered or installed at the address provided during the order process. If ordering multiple items, deliveries may be split into instalments.

A responsible adult (18 years or older) must be present during the installation and sign to confirm completion. Customers must ensure safe access to the property and provide suitable parking within 30 meters of the installation site. Installations may be cancelled if the site is unsafe or unsuitable, and refunds will be issued unless information provided was misleading. In such cases, a cancellation fee will apply.

If inaccurate or misleading information results in additional costs, the customer will be notified of these charges before proceeding. Refusal to pay may result in cancellation, and a fee will be deducted from the refund.

Installers will exercise reasonable care but are not liable for damage to unmarked services or structural defects at the property. EV Heroes Ltd uses OZEV-approved installers who adhere to the latest regulations for EV charge point installations.

When using your charge point, ensure the charging lead remains on your property and does not create a trip hazard.

Risk

The risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you once the goods are installed at your premises. If goods are delivered and stored at your premises before installation, the risk transfers to you upon receipt.

Warranty

Charge points supplied under the OZEV grant scheme include a three-year warranty. For charge points not under the OZEV scheme, the warranty period varies by manufacturer. The warranty begins on the installation date.

Report any charge point failures to EV Heroes Ltd at customerservice@evheroes.co.uk within 7 days of noticing the issue. Include the make, model, serial number, installation date, and a description of the fault.

The warranty is void if the charge point is tampered with, opened, or repaired by unauthorised individuals. EV Heroes Ltd as a reseller, passes on manufacturers’ warranty terms to you. Each manufacturer has its own warranty conditions.

Liability

EV Heroes Ltd is not liable for:

– Errors or omissions on the website.

– Changes to prices, specifications, or descriptions.

– Indirect, consequential, or economic losses from using the site or products.

If pricing errors occur, we will inform you promptly. Orders at incorrect prices will be cancelled, and any payment refunded within 30 days. You may reorder at the correct price.

For goods that are defective, incorrect, or damaged, notify us within 10 working days. We will replace, repair, or refund as appropriate.

Website content and product imagery are as accurate as possible but may vary due to display settings. We are not responsible for such variations. Some of the images used are for illustrative purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product.

EV Heroes Ltd ensures secure data storage but is not liable for breaches beyond its control. We are not responsible for losses due to site interruptions, viruses, or other harmful material.

The website is provided “as is” without warranties. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Submissions

Emails, comments, feedback, suggestions, or other information submitted to EV Heroes Ltd become its property. By submitting, you release any proprietary claims.

We may use demographic or usage information for marketing without revealing personal details. Participation in promotions or contests implies consent for marketing use of your information.

You are responsible for your communications. Do not submit material that is:

– Copyrighted or trade secrets without proper permissions.

– Harassing, obscene, defamatory, or abusive.

– Advertisements, solicitations, or chain letters.

– Fraudulent or impersonates another person.

Violation of these Terms may result in being banned from the site.

Third-Party Information

EV Heroes Ltd is not responsible for material or prices on third-party sites. Linked sites are visited at your own risk.

Ownership

The website and its content, including images, text, and software, are owned by EV Heroes Ltd and protected by copyright laws. Reproduction requires prior written permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the website if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials obtained from the site.

Waiver

Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of rights.

Survival

If any term is deemed unenforceable, the remaining Terms still apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England. By using the website, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

Descriptions and images aim for accuracy but may vary. Calls may be monitored for quality assurance. Orders are placed with EV Heroes Ltd.

EV Heroes Ltd’s liability is limited to the value of goods supplied. We are not liable for consequential losses or failure to follow instructions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
